The presence of the Sun and the Moon, -the solar lights reminded of universality and God's creation and the two natures of Christ: His divine nature (the Sun) and His human one (the Moon). These can be seen in earlier work, for instance a 12th century German ivory dyptich panel, held at the British Museum.

The legs with scratches (more pronounced to the right leg. No signs of restoration to the figure. The base bolt would benefit from being tightened as the figure is a little loose on the plinth (This figure stands perfectly fine upright, and the only reason you are able to tell is if you pick it up). The plinth with some minor nibbles and cracks.
