Beau cartel de forme violoné en placage d`écaille brune et cuivre. Au sommet, un enfant Zéphyr tenant une torche. La partie haute cintrée est souligné d`une frise d`oves en bronze décoré au centre d`une agraphe formé de deux cornes d`abondance. La porte est décoré d`une figure de Danaé recevant une pluie d`or surmonté d`un aigle les ailes déployé figurant Jupiter. Aux angles des bustes de femmes en espagnolettes. Cadrant à chiffre d`émail ornée d`une couronne royale et d`un profile d`homme. Le mouvement signé sur la platine de Gilles l`ainé à Paris. Epoque Régence. Sur un contre socle dessinant un lambrequin d`époque postérieur. Accidents et manques. H total avec socle 84 cm L 43 cm P 25 cm
Pendule de forme borne, en bronze ciselé et doré. Le cadran émaillé avec indication des heures et des minurtes, est flanqué de palmettes, étoiles et femmes drapes à l’antique. Elle présente deux médaillons à l’imitation de camées dans le gout de Wegdwood. La partie inférieure repose sur des pilastres feuillagés réunis par un socle rectangulaire, décoré d’un vase de fleurs et des chèvres affrontées, supporté par des patins. XIXème siècle H : 49,5 cm (éclats au cadran, usures à la dorure)
