Walter HOWARD (1910-2005)"Hermann Duncker"große, wahrscheinlich unikate Bronze, H: 48 cmBiografie - Kurzform:Als gelernter Schriftsetzer wurde Howard zur Zeit des Nationalsozialismus wegen seiner kommunistischen und antifaschistischen Einstellung verfolgt und für zwei Jahre ins Zuchthaus Brandenburg gesteckt.Von 1946 bis 1951 studierte Howard Bildhauerei an der Hochschule für Bildende und Angewandte Kunst in Berlin-Weißensee unter anderem bei Heinrich Drake, Fritz Koelle und Bernhard Heiliger.Nach dem Studium war er von 1951 bis 1953 als Meisterschüler an der Deutschen Akademie der Künste in Berlin bei Gustav Seitz und Fritz Cremer.Nach zwei Jahren freischaffender Tätigkeit arbeitete Howard von 1955 bis 1960 als Assistent und später als Dozent an der Hochschule für Bildende und Angewandte Kunst in Berlin-Weißensee, wo er unter anderem mit dem Bildhauer Theo Balden eine langjährige Freundschaft entwickelte.Im Jahr 1961 zog Howard nach Radebeul, um als Lehrbeauftragter für Bauplastik an der Technischen Universität Dresden zu arbeiten. Hier erfolgte im Jahre 1963 seine Berufung zum Professor. Bis zu seiner Emeritierung im Jahre 1969 arbeitete Howard an der TU. Ab 1970 war Howard, befreit von Lehrverpflichtungen, weiterhin bildhauerisch tätig.Howard war in der DDR an nahezu allen wichtigen Ausstellungen beteiligt, u. a. von 1953 bis 1988 an sechs Deutschen Kunstausstellungen bzw. Kunstausstellungen der DDR in Dresden.1992 zog Howard von Radebeul nach Dedeleben im Harz, kehrte jedoch kurze Zeit später nach Sachsen zurück.

Herpa - Two boxed diecast 1:72 scale Eurofighter Typhoon models from Herpa Military. Lot consists of Herpa 580083 Luftwaffe Eurofighter Typhoon - TaktLwG74 "Bavarian Tigers - Bronze Tiger"; together with 580502 Italian Air Force Eurofighter Typhoon twin-seat - 20° Gruppo 100th Anniversary, Grosseto Air Base. Both models appear to be in Mint condition, and come with accessories housed within Excellent Plus boxes with some minor wear. Models are unchecked for completeness. Models not supplied with stands. Corgi Toys - A boxed Corgi Toys #290 Kojak Buick. The iconic model in metallic bronze has couple of fairly light rub like marks to roof, otherwise appears to be in Excellent condition, and comes with Kojak figure (wearing hat) and Crocker (with blue jacket) figure in car. The set contains an original self adhesive Lieutenant badge which appears to be in Very Good condition. The black and yellow striped window box comes with card 'City diorama and both appear to be in Fair Plus - Good slightly dusty condition with some storage related scuffs and creases. The cellophane window has a couple of creases and a crack to top. The header does not appear to have been folded been. (This does not constitute a guarantee)
