A Roman bronze standing male figure, 2.75ins high (1st/2nd Century AD - North Africa) and a Roman bronze figure of a winged messenger of the Gods, 2ins high Provenance: Standing figure purchased from Ancient World, YorkCondition -The standing figure has all over verdigris. There is a small hole drilled between his shoulder blades. There are two spikes attached to the soles of his feet for mounting.Winged messenger - Wear to features. Left foot broken off and missing. Right hand broken off at wrist and missing.

A Chinese brown patinated bronze two-handled circular censer, the low squat bulbous body decorated in gold leaf with a "Splash" design, 8ins (20.4cm) diameter x 4ins (10.2cm) high (apocryphal six character mark cast to base)Condition - Some glue residue around neck, wrists and his left leg. Chipping to boxwood collar around neck. Crack in ivory on his right hand and chip to the boxwood sleeve of the same right arm. Small crack to his right trouser leg. Two cracks and repaired chip to his left trouser leg. His left ivory foot is loose in the leg. Crack running down the left side of his back - a natural flaw with a bit of movement. Small chip to edge of robe at the bottom of his back. Tree trunk base appears to be in overall good condition. Rectangular cavity on the underside where the seal is now missing.
A Chinese bronze two-handled censer on three stump feet, 4.625ins (11.6cm) diameter x 2.875ins (7.4cm) high, two other similar censers, each 3.75ins (9.5cm) diameter x 2.75ins (7cm) high, one other smaller bronze censer, 2.5ins (6.3cm) diameter x 1.75ins (4.5cm) high (all with six character seal marks to base - 20th Century - all polished)
A small Chinese brown patinated bronze cylindrical censer, the exterior cast in relief and decorated in gilt with mythical beasts, animals and various symbols, on a textured wave pattern ground, raised on three circular dome pattern feet, 4ins (10.2cm) diameter x 3.5ins (9.0cm) high (unmarked)Condition - This is a reasonable quality censer. The casting is reasonably well defined but not particularly crisp. It has a decorative mid-brown patination and the raised decoration to the exterior is gilded, which is a little rubbed and marked in places. This does not bear any mark at all and it is our suggestion that this possibly 19th/20th Century.
An Indian silver inlaid bronze cylindrical jar and cover decorated with flowerheads and leaves, 3.75ins (9.5cm) diameter x 5ins (12.7cm) highCondition - This covered jar appears to be in reasonably good overall condition with no obvious damage or restoration. There is some very minor loss to the silver inlay just above the foot.

From Hunan Province. Qianshou Guanyin - a gift from a Christian Missionary in Wye in 1974. Probably from Chengdu Sichuan Province.
