Rolf BIEBL (1951) Budapester Paar (1980) Skulptur - Volumen, Bronze grün patiniert, H: 26,5 cm,verso in der Plinthe monogrammiert,Nach dem Abitur an der KJS- Kinder und Jugendsportschule Dynamo Klingenthal studierte Rolf Biebl von 1973 bis 1978 Bildhauerei an der Kunsthochschule Berlin Weissensee bei Werner Stötzer und arbeitete anschließend dort als Aspirant. 1979/1980 folgte eine Aspirantur an der Akademie der Hochschule für Bildende Künste in Budapest. Zurück in der DDR war er von 1980 bis 1983 Meisterschüler an der Akademie der Künste der DDR bei Ludwig Engelhardt. 1981 gründete Rolf Biebl zusammen mit seinen Malerfreunden Clemens Gröszer und Harald K. Schulze die Künstlergruppe NEON REAL. Seine Arbeiten im öffentlichen Raum findet man in Berlin, Rostock, Frankfurt Oder und Cottbus.

CHINESE BRONZE RITUAL LIDDED PEDESTAL BOWL - DOU, EASTERN ZHOU DYNASTY a ritual food vessel, the bowl raised on a stepped pedestal foot, with a circular handle to each side of the body, decorated with two bands of leiwen, below a further band to the domed cover, and the wide flaring finial. Some damages, 17cms high, also with one volume of Early Chinese Bronzes, Albert J Koop, 1924. (2)

Signed to the base and dated 90. 70cms by 63cms *This instrument spans nearly two octaves with the tuning in E Flat, Tobias Kaye is a wood turner and instrument maker based in Devon who created Sounding Bowls to produce healing sounds.

JOHN ROBINSON (1935-2007) - BRONZE BUST OF A GIRL a bronze bust titled Arabella, with a depiction of a young girl with a bird perched on her shoulder. Dated 1988 and signed John, and mounted on a marble square base. 42cms high overall *John Robinson was a British Sculptor and co founder of the Bradshaw Foundation, he produced a wide variety of life size and small bronzes of children, athletic figures and various other examples including a commissioned bust of Queen Elizabeth and the Queen Mother. He was also the official sculptor for the British Olympic Committee in 1988. This bust was commissioned in 1988 along with a bronze birdbath of their Grand Daughter Arabella, and comes with various paperwork from the sculptor.

Not many works by Komin are known, largely because he rarely signed them.
