Third Reich Citation Grouping 6th Motor Cycle Battalion 114th Panzer Grenadier Regiment, the grouping awarded to Gunther Potrafke consists of Iron Cross 2nd class, Panzer Assault badge in bronze and unusually two awards of the black wound badge. Also accompanying the grouping is a 1941 dated range firing booklet and a civilian training college certificate from 1938. The citation for the Iron Cross was signed by Von Waldenfels who was awarded the Knights Cross and Oak Leaves to the Knights Cross. The panzer badge citation was signed by Major Quentin who was also awarded the Knights Cross of the Iron Cross and German Cross in Gold. Citations come with some research.

A gilt bronze horse head, 'Naziri', inscribed and dated 'Herbert Haseltine 1952', 13.5in. incl. brown jasper plinthNaziri 1925 born a very light grey but went white early. Sire Skowronek was the Polish stallion purchased by Walter Winans from the Polish Stud for the sole purpose of modelling himself on the stallion. The horse was then sold on and later bought by Mr HVM Clark, the well known breeder of Arabs.It is believed that Cecil Covey, the stud groom for Lady Wentworth, who owned the Crabbett Stud, either gave it to HVM Clark or left it to him when he died. Cecil Covey inherited the stud from Lady Wentworth.

Adrien Etienne Gaudez (1845-1902). A patinated bronze study of young Mozart standing tuning his violin, on circular base, signed. A. Gaudez, 13.25in.Renowned sculptor of monuments, groups and busts, Gaudez was born on the 9th February 1845 in Lyon. He was a student of Joffrey and made his debut in the Paris Salon In 1864, winning a Third Class medal. His early career was interrupted while a prisoner of war at Madgeburg in Germany between 1870-1 and he later sculpted many monuments as a tribute to his fellow French soldiers. In 1881 he was awarded the Premiere Classe Medaille in the Paris Salon and in 1882 he entered the Salon de Beaux Arts. He went on to receive many "Hors Concours" awards for his numerous celebrated works.

Dominique Alonzo (French, fl.1910-1930)., A gilt bronze and ivory figure, 'The Jewel Box', modelled as a medieval female opening a jewel box, seated on an onyx balustrade with steps to the base, signed, 15.5in,Born in Paris, Alonzo was a pupil of Falguiere and exhibited several times in the Paris Salon from 1912 until 1926. Alonzo was well known for the high quality of his sculpture and the intricate detail he achieved capturing the Art Deco style within his work.
