A ROMAN BRONZE 'COMMA' SPOON, the 'comma' shaped bowl with a square section stem, 4.25" long. Similar Roman 'comma' spoons can be found at the Dorset County Museum. Their suggested use is for the eating of shellfish or snails. The small hole at the base of the terminal acts as a strainer for the liquids.

A MEDIEVAL BRONZE AND ENAMELED HORSE PENDANT, believed to be from the house of Beauchamp, c.14th century, 1.75" x 1.1" A similar effigy belonging to Sir John Beauchamp and his wife can be found on the Beauchamp Tomb at Worcester Cathedral. Sir John Beauchamp was the Seneschal of King Richard II, who knighted him and also made him a Baron.

A large 19th century Chinese bronze censer, with six character mark to base and raised on a carved wooden stand. Width 35 cm, height 29 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The width of the top is 35 cm across the handles. It is 32.5 cm from side to side excluding the handles. The height of the lot including the handles and feet is 20.5 cm, the height excluding the handle is 16 cm. The piece is in generally good condition. We cannot see any significant damage or any repairs. There are some surface blemishes and scratches but no significant issues to the metalwork. The stand does have some old damage. There are several losses to the edges of the timberwork which should be visible on our images. There are also stress cracks to the wood. The stand is however structurally very sound. The weight of the piece is approximately 8kg.

A metal garden water feature, Jack & Jill with pail of water, green patination. Height 112 cm, width 117 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: This has a label stating that it is bronze. It is extremely heavy and would take at least two men to lift. It is apparently approximately 30 years old and in very good condition.
