Ferdinand Priess (1882-1943) fine Art Deco 'Con Brio' bronze and ivory figure of a dancer - circa 1930 - modelled as a girl in a dancing pose with tinted eyes and lips, green patinated bronze clothing raised on onyx and black slate pyramid base - unsigned, 32cm high, 22cm wide CONDITION REPORT A hole at the peak of her cap suggests a missing plume or similar element. Very fine hairlines to some of the ivory and a yellowish stain to knee area of one leg. Some minor chips, nibbles to underside corners of onyx base.Otherwise condition appears to be good and original

PLAYBOY,1970s, a painted wooden wall decoration from the Playboy Club in Park Lane,together with a silvered bronze door decoration and six Playboy magazines,key 93cm high (8)The original Playboy Club in Park Lane, London, opened in 1966 and closed its doors in 1981. The vendor of this lot worked at the Playboy Club until its closure.
WW2 German Kriegsmarine U-Boat Combat Clasp in Bronze by Schwerin Berlin, very good example of the bronze grade combat clasp. Complete with the original horizontal pin and catch fixing to the reverse. Maker marked to the reverse “ENTWURF PEEKHAUS AUSF SCHWERIN BERLIN 68”. The award is accompanied by a un-maker marked U-Boat was badge which is missing its pin to the reverse, Kriegsmarine cap eagle, embroidered coastal artillery breast eagle, bevo naval cap eagle, selection of German naval buttons and some Royal Navy buttons. All items housed in the card box that the veteran brought the items home in from Germany in 1945. The current vendors uncle was the veteran who brought these souvenirs back. It is said that he took the U-Boat clasp from a member of a U-Boat crew who his ship captured off the cost of Ireland. Their ship had run out of depth charges so had to ram this U-Boat. The British ship then limped back to port due to the damage caused in the action.

WW2 Lincolnshire Regiment British Officers Service Dress Full Uniform Attributed to Captain John Walter Womersley, Killed in Action on 14th November 1944 Serving with the 6th Battalion, Son of the Rt Hon Sir Walter James Womersley 1st Bt P.C Minister for Pensions During WW2, fine four pocket example with brass regimental tunic buttons. Officers bronze regimental collar badges and brass rank pips to the shoulders. Africa star medal ribbon to the breast pocket. Interior with standard lining. Inside pocket with tailors label having inked name and date “Nov 1940”; Officers standard service dress khaki trousers and officers private purchase beret with bronze officers cap badge. Cloth lining to the interior with tailors details of Bryants Grimsby. Captain John Walter Womersley was from Cleethorpes, Lincolnshire. He was killed in action serving with the 6th Battalion Lincolnshire regiment on 14th November 1944, aged 25. He is remembered with honour at Meldola War Cemetery, Italy. The 6th Battalion Lincolnshire regiment was involved in much of the heavy fighting during the Italian campaign, they were earlier in 1944 withdrawn back to Egypt due to heavy casualties, only to return to the Italian campaign and again see much of the heavy fighting against the heavily defended German enforcements in Northern Italy. His father was a well known figure in the city of Grimsby, becoming Mayor in 1922. A member of the conservative party he was elected for parliament in 1924. In 1939 he was appointed as Minister of Pensions, he was the only minister to hold his position throughout the length of WW2. He lost his seat in the 1945 general election, he is to date he remains the last conservative MP for the constituency of Grimsby.

WW2 1940 Royal Artillery Officers Service Dress Tunic, four pocket khaki service dress tunic with brass general service pattern tunic buttons, bronze Royal Artillery collar badges and rank pips for Lieutenant. Interior with cloth lining and inside pocket having tailors label with inked name “C H Greed” and dated 28-11-40. Good overall condition.
WW1 Royal Flying Corps Officers Side Cap Attributed to 2nd Lieutenant Sydney Reginald Hadafy who Died of Wounds on 24th November 1917, the side cap is of fine quality khaki cloth with bronze RFC officers cap badge attached. RFC buttons to the front. Interior of officers quality lining with Hall Bros tailors label which has inked name “S R HANAFY”. Some areas of service wear and some light areas of mothing but generally good condition. Accompanying the cap is printed paperwork which suggests that Hadafy possibly was the victim of WW1 German flying ace and Pour le Merite winner, Leutnant Otto Konnecke of Jasta 5
3x Sports Medals of Coldstream Guards Interest, being cased medals for the Daily Telegraph Cup, all in bronze, two engraved to the reverse “L/SGT C MORELAND 4 COY 3 C.G WINNERS 1934” and “L/SGT C MORELAND 4 COY 3 C.G WINNERS 1932”. Medals accompanied by a cased Women’s Voluntary Service medal with long service bar and rosette to ribbon, medal un-named as issued. (4 items)
