A Japanese late Edo period (1615-1868) bronze standing model of an Oni holding a twin decorated engraved urn upon his head, with loincloth to midriff, raised on integral rouge marble canted base, overall h.25.5cm.No breaks or damage.Of dark brown patina.Possibly something missing from right hand, but no evidence of this aside from the fact that his fist is open.

In enameled bronze, with crowned monogram 'PE' (for Reichsfürst Philipp Ernst I., the founder of the order) on the beams. dating: third quarter of the 18th Century provenance: Berlin, Beautiful, smooth, 13 mm cal. barrels of fine damask, one twisted toward the left, the other toward the right, the tangs en suite, both barrels provided with rib, silver foresight with gilt frame, tangs chiselled with trophies within gilt rocaille and assembled without visible screw; flintlocks, entirely chiselled with trophies and rocaille on gilt background, wooden full stocks, sculpted with rocaille, gilt bronze mounts decorated with rocaille and trophies, female portraits at the butt-plates. Horn-tipped wooden ramrods. Probably manufactured for a member of the court. length 37 cm.
dating: Mid 19th Century provenance: Spain, Smooth-bore, octagonal, bronze, 17 mm cal. barrels, with iron base and tang; miquelet locks, marked 'P.'. Wooden, full stocks, with checkered grips and brass, smooth mounts, iron belt hook. Horn-tipped wooden ramrod (one is missing). length 35.5 cm.
dating: mid-17th Century provenance: Hizen, Nagasa 76.5 cm, not clean, with some stains, untouched edge, with visible hamon and hada. Hi decorated with a long dragon on one side, engraved and gilded on a dark ground, two thin hi on the other side at the base. Bronze habaki. Nakago mei 'Hizen Koku Ju Omi Daijo Fujiwara Tadahiro' with one mekugi ana. Koshirae with big, iron tsuba, decorated with silver floral motifs and with four hearts in the brass-plated corners. Fuchi decorated en suite in silver, missing menuki and kashira. Long, wooden grip coverd with same and beige tsuka. Wooden saya, lacquered in brown with golden mon in a shape of flower. Iron mounts decorated en suite with tsuba and Fuchi. Small damages and parts missing. length 108 cm.
dating: 17th/18th Century provenance: Japan, Late Shinto period blade (nagasa 44,2 cm), hada Itame Mokume, hamon Suguha-nioi-ko nie, boshi suguha ko maru hakikake. Nakago with one mekugi-ana- Mumei. Koshirae with iron, circular tsuba with thin, gold-inlaid spirals; fuchi-kashira in shakudo with gilded elements in relief; partially gilded menuki portraying warriors. Tsuka with brown, silk lacing. Wooden saya, lacquered in brown, with rings. Kozuka-mei with silver blade, grip in shakudo with gilded ideograms and a fine, bronze, gilded face in relief. length 60,5 cm.
dating: Late 19th Century provenance: Vietnam, Straight, double-edged blade of lozenge section; bronze hilt with silver decorations and nielloed, fine, ivory grip, chiselled with Greek frets, grooves and beaded rings, a cartouche with inscription in the center. Wooden scabbard with mother-of-pearl inlaid trophies and floral motifs, silver mounts, engraved with dragons and floral motifs in bass-relief, on a grained ground. Two suspension rings. length 83 cm.
dating: Mid 19th Century provenance: Vietnam, Simple, round, smooth-bore, 12 mm cal. barrel, with square base; flintlock. Wooden, half stock, checkered at the grip and with mother-of-pearl inlays on the butt, golden butterfly after the tang, fore-end cap with solid gold mount, engraved with floral motifs, en suite the counter-plate. Bronze or copper trigger-guard (one screw is missing), decorated in silver and nielloed. No ramrod. Solid gold parts. length 158.5 cm.
dating: 19th Century provenance: Balkans, One with wide, curved blade, engraved with dots. Curved grip in light horn, with suspension ring. One with curved blade, chiselled back and white metal grip, engraved and decorated with a small animal at the pommel, suspension ring. The last one with wide blade with round tip and bronze grip, engraved with anthropomorphic figures and floral motifs (small part missing on one side). length open 16.5 - 18 cm.
dating: Second quarter of the 19th Century provenance: England, Straight, double-edged blade, of lozenge section, with remains of engraved trophies and rinceaux through almost all the length. Flat, gilded, bronze quillon, chiselled with leaves in the upper part. Gilded, bronze ring-nut. Ivory, twisted grip (veining). Cap carved en suite with the quillon. Bronze scabbard with remains of gilding, engraved on the front surface with a flag trophy and shields, hemmed with leaves on a dotted ground. Two lugs. length 21,7 cm.
