Pohl, bronze nude female figure, kneeling and raised on a marble base. Height 14 cm, length 14 cm. CONDITION REPORT: This figure is in first class condition with no issues of any note. The bronze itself is in very good order as is the marble plinth. The fabric to the base of the marble is a little perished.
WW1 Liverpool Regiment DCM Winner’s Memorial Plaque.Issued to commemorate the ultimate sacrifice of “HARRY R ROBERTSON”. The plaque is mounted into a bronze cross table frame.Attributed to Sergeant Harry Reginald Robertson DCM who was Killed in Action whilst serving with the 5th Bn King’s Liverpool Regiment. The soldiers died roll shows the name as Harry R Robertson. It appears to be a unique name. The DC was awarded for gallantry at Cuinchy on the 23rd March 1915

Original photographs of Pte Lewis in uniform. etc.Private Sidney George Lewis was born in England his parents living in Horsham Kent. He emigrated to Canada and married then settled in Toronto working for the works department of the Corporation of the City of Toronto. He volunteered for overseas service with the CEF joining the 166th Bn CEF. Posted to the Western Front he appears to have transferred to the 38th Bn CEF and was in action on the 26th June 1917 when he received multiple gun shot wounds and died at number 7 Casualty Clearing Station on the 28th June 1917.

The Lancer is depicted in full dress with lance cap and holding a Lance to his right hand. Raised on an ebonized plinth. Detail good. Height 47 cm.
Pair of late 19th/early 20th Century Chinese crackle glazed plates with under glazed decoration depicting birds and insects amongst foliage and having bronze coloured moulded rims. Moulded bronze coloured character mark to the base of each, 30cm diameter approx. Together with a small Chinese under glazed blue decorated shallow dish, decorated with warriors practising in a landscape within a 'C' scroll decorated border. Unmarked. 20cm diameter approx. (3) (B.P. 21% + VAT) Pair of dishes - both are very dirty. Shallow dish - also has no obvious damage but is dirty.
