ADRIAN WISZNIEWSKI R.S.A (SCOTTISH B.1958) MALE HEAD Signed with initials and dated `90, painted bronze 44cm (17.25in) high Note:On leaving the architecture course at Glasgow School of Art Wiszniewski originally thought of studying sculpture. Faced with producing a portfolio quickly paintings and drawings proved a more straightforward solution and he graduated in that discipline. This bronze was cast with four different patinas at the Powerhall Foundry in Edinburgh.Wiszniewski painted this example before burying it in the garden for five years to achieve the required effect.
