AN EARLY 20TH CENTURY FRENCH GILT BRONZE AND CARVED IVORY FIGURE OF A BOY IN AN AIRPLANE, AFTER GEORGES OMERTH (1895-1925), cast as flying over a Continental village, cast signature to tail of plane, stamped 1757 to the side of a building, mounted on an onyx plinth, a.f, and on a shaped rectangular gilt metal base stamped to the underside 'OUD' and 'FABRICATION FRANCAISE * PARIS - G.M *', height 26.5cm x width 24cm (condition: onyx base has a large chunk missing and a fracture line running through the base possibly as a consequence of the visible damage, the metal base plate is bent upwards where the onyx is missing, the plane propeller is off and there is evidence of previous solder repair at the join, the right hand wheel is loose and the plane is missing all four chains that attach to the corners of the wings, the plaque on the base is titled 'AEROPLANE Par Omertz')

A Chinese bronze and cloisonné enamel archaic style jardinière probably 19th century, bell form with everted rim and tripod feet, cast four character mark in archaic script to base, the exterior in patinated bronze with a cloisonné band of stylised masks and dragons suspending four floral pendant reserves, 8¼in. (20.8cm.) high. *Condition: Water scale residue to interior from use. Small oxidised patch to surface of bronze below rim. Tiny ding and scratch to lower body. No losses to enamel. Blister to metal to one foot.
A Chinese patinated bronze duck censer probably 20th century, with verdigris patination, the duck with head inclined to the right and beak open to allow the exit of smoke, standing upon a lotus leaf, the pierced wings removable to reveal the open compartment beneath, 11½in. (29.2cm.) high. *Condition: A little rubbing to patination to front edge of compartment to duck's back from contact with cover. Casting to wings rougher than the remainder of the piece and with small casting crack at front edge. Also lacks front locating lug. Mounting between lotus leaf and feet slightly loose. No other faults.
Seven antique Burmese or Chinese bronze gold or opium weights five in the form of a Chinthe; three on a square base and two octagonal, the largest weighted with lead between the legs, 4.1cm. to 6.8cm. high; and two in the form of ducks, one on a fluted circular base; the other octagonal, both 5.6cm. high. (7) *Condition: Good patina - the patina to largest Chinthe example and circular base duck example are particularly good. Wear to patination to undersides as expected. No damage.
A large Neo-classical bronze urn on a column base after a design by Claude Ballin for Parterre du Nord, Versailles second half 20th century, the belly of the urn with floral swags and two large ringed lion mask handles surmounted by feathers, on which are seated cherubs resting on the top rim, the column with conforming swags, standing on a stepped circular foot with a band of acanthus leaves, the urn 32in. (81.5cm.) wide, overall height 58½in. (148.5 cm.). * Provenance: This urn was removed from the entrance of Harrods in Knightsbridge to make space for the erection of the shrine for Princess Diana after her death.

(61cm.) high. (2) *Condition:Very good overall, with original patina with just light wear to edges and raised detail.

(21cm.) high plus fittings, later converted to lamps, 10in. (25.4cm.) high overall. (2) *Condition: In working condition, re-wired (would need pat test), good condition.

(4) *Condition: - Gilt bronze lamp: Wear to gilding throughout, otherwise good. - Brass candlestick lamp: Corner of drip pan slightly bent, base drilled. - Pair lamps: A few paint chips and rubs to edges, small chip to one base, one lacks the fluted mount on top of column capital.

(12.3cm.) high. *Condition: Very small ding to rim of dish, tiny flakes from enamel to thumbpiece. Handle slightly bent and possible old soldered repair to joint with stick.
