Thomas Burton, coach-builder was born 21st January 1787 at St. James, Westminster and died in 1855. One urn with several large discoloured cracks/breaks to both sides, some glue to cracks, some losses to jewelled decoration. Both urns and lids have at some time in the past been restored and over-painted - this appears to have been professionally carried out and it is not possible to ascertain the extent of damage beneath the restoration.
