A large late 19th Century Thomas Webb & Sons Ivory cameo glass vase of footed, shouldered ovoid form with collar neck, self-colour cased and cut with stems of lilies with butterflies, the whole enamel decorated over a green enamel ground between gilt and bronze borders, acid mark, height 31.5cm.

THE SATYR MARSYAS, A RARE ANTIQUE BRONZE STATUE A statue in exactly the same pose was excavated at Patras in the Peloponnese and now resides in the British Museum, the figure dating from 50BC - 50AD, after our extensive research no record of another statue of the same pose can be found. The Satyr MARSYAS is portrayed making the fateful decision to pick up and play the pipes discarded by the Goddess Athena. (h 53cm)
A large bronze figure, Gloria Victus, signed A Mercie, with F Barbedienne Fondeur stamp, height 37ins Condition report: various wear and condition commensurate with age, some marks to the base and loss to his arm, age not specified but thought to be late 19th century, sword is misshaped and has a blunt end (not known if this is part of design)
