ALFRED DRURY (British, 1856-1944) A bronze bust of Elsie Doncaster, on a green marble square pedestal base, signed to the reverse, 18 1/2" high `The subject of this work is the daughter of the Doncasters who were friends with Drury. He used each of the daughters as the inspiration for one of his works. Clarrie was the model for the sculptures of Morning and Evening in the city square Leeds.
