A large and heavily patinated 19th century bronze - 'Leda and the Swan' - signed 'Bartolini' (Lorenzo, Italian, 1777-1850) (41cm wide x 27cm highest point) Condition Report: in good order with even surface patination. A very fine, large and heavy gilt metal (probably bronze) late 19th century table lamp: two angular handles decorated with applied plumes of Prince of Wales style feathers flanking the top section decorated with Anthemions and leaves in low relief, the main conical-shaped ungilded body decorated in relief with female musicians carrying varying instruments, stepped base leading to a gilded lower moulding cast with stiff leave-style decoration, raised on four individually marked (to the underside) animal's paw feet with scrolling and wing-style ear pieces (71cm high to top of brass electrical fitting)
A two-handled 19th century continental porcelain (Sitzendorf) vase and cover: the dome-topped cover encrusted with flowers and leaves above the two-handled body with winged cherubic style figures and a multitude of further applied flowerheads and leaves and two flat vignettes of varying floral sprays, on pierced pedestal foot with further encrusted flowers, blue 'H' mark to underside (24.5cm high) Condition Report: Metals untested but thought to be possibly a mixture of bronze, low grade silver and brass. The largest beads are 24mm x 12mm , 23mm x 9mm.

NB - It is believed these were specially commissioned by the President of the Scottish Terrier Society and represents their view of a mathematically perfect profile of the breed.
