A good Japanese bronze, the squat spherical body with long flaring neck, the handles formed as butterflies, the body inlaid with silver wire depicting a dragon amongst clouds, with central key fret band, Meiiji, 34cm CONDITION REPORT: Generally good condtion, surface colour very even, silver wares dirty, but one butterfly handle is being held on with yellowish glue. Some very tiny dinks to rim.
A Japanese bronze hand warmer of lobed squat spherical form, the top pierced in the form of chrysnthemum petals, swing handle, 13.5ccm CONDITION REPORT: This is not a modern reproduction. Body is in generally fairly good condition. Some slight bashes to lobed body, patina generally good. One handle missing. Pierced grid is bashed in two areas and 'leaf' design grid is displaced but appears to be present.

One ring handle and loop is missing. A few very minor bashes to the body. Gilding to foot rim. Cross hatch design to interior of foot.
