L S Lowry (1887-1976); "The Lowrys", three limited edition artist signed portraits "Portrait of the Artist's Mother", "Portrait of the Artist's Father" and "Self Portrait of the Artist", 262/300, with certificate, all framed and glazed, also a limited edition bronze medallion of L S Lowry from the original model by Leo Solomon, cased, 262/300, with certificate (Illustrated).
KATHLEEN SCOTT (Lady Kennett) R.B.A. (1878-1947), Child in hand, a bronze figure signed "K Scott", dark green/black patination, 8 1/2" wide, 4" high. Kathleen Scott studied at the Slade in France, and in Italy and under Rodin. In 1908 she married the Polar explorer Robert Falcon Scott (Captain Scott of the Antarctic), she was the mother of Sir Peter Markham Scott, the naturalist and artist, and this bronze depicts him as an infant. Among her notable works is the memorial to Captain Scott in Waterloo Place. She exhibited at the R.A. 1913-47.

Sold with a miniature group of medals, a Defence Medal, a War Medal 1939- 1945, awarded to Major James Morrison Gibson, Royal West Kent Regiment, killed 13.11.1949, with photographs of Major Gibson and colleagues.
