Signed to the base, Ogilvie, 84, 1/9. 23ins (58cms) high, 24ins (61cms) across *Bill Ogilvie was born in Melbourne in 1935 and taught Art, Metalwork and Sculpture before concentrating on sculpture full time from 1975. He exhibited widely in Australian Galleries, winning various awards and being represented in many notable collections. He produced many figures of Dancers, and this sculpture was purchased by the vendors family whilst in Australia.
