Burgess, one of 11 medals issued to those who accompanied Burgess on a boat alongside, this named to G.L.M. FACHE, who was a solicitor at Hare Court, Temple, London, and recipient of the Military Cross. His medal group was sold by Lawrences of Crewkerne, 14 Nov. 2013, lot 572.

Fray of Birmingham, unlisted in Eimer; another example traced ex Baldwins marked 'bronze' below exergue, the present example not marked thus, but a coppery colour seems to show through at the high points of the moustache, and the King's thumbs on seated portrait, toned nEF (previous collector labelled this silver, therefore may warrant further inspection)

Roty, EF with original case, this awarded according to gilt inscription on lid 'EXPOSITION UNIVERSELLE 1900, CLASSE 38, MATERIEL DE LA NAVIGATION DE COMMERCE, COMPAGNIE DU CANAL DE SUEZ, Ed. QUELLENNEC, COLLABORATEUR'. The other medal the bronze issue by Chaplain, to E. QUELLENNEC, EF with original case with gilt lid.
Suffragette Related Medals (2): Society of French Artistes medals d.53.5mm in silvered-bronze Salon de 1929 and gilt-bronze Salon de 1934, both named to the female artist Lily Delissa Joseph, an active Suffragette who whilst imprisoned in Holloway was unable to open an exhibition of her paintings in 1912. She was also the first woman in Britain to own and drive a car, and had some involvement in aviation. The 1929 medal EF holed with suspension ring, and the 1934 one EF with solder remnant 12 o'clock.
