Tiffany Studios, New York, a fine Art Nouveau style circular topped Occasional Table (possibly originally a lamp base), the pineapple style finial above a circular black marble top and cast bronze and pierced cast bronze base in high Art Nouveau style terminating in four splaying feet modelled as tendrils, stamp cast bronze underside Tiffany Studios, New York and numbered 442, 45cm diameter x 50cm high (to top of marble) CONDITION REPORT: This has come from an Eastern royal family. The pineapple style finial has been removed from the centre of the table but as you can see there is a circular washer and a screw thread sticking which is not easily removable.
An 18th century Chinese bronze archaic-style Fang Ding and Cover, the Cover finial modelled as a recumbent hound above a two-handled main vessel with interior script to the two longer sides, the exterior cast in archaistic style, raised on four shaped legs, sold together with British Museum Department of Oriental Antiquities receipt dated 16. 9 .72 detailing Museum description and with date attribution of 18th Century, 21.5cm (including finial) CONDITION REPORT: The lid has a small hole and old cracks visible in the images taken and also what looks like an old solder repair to the underside of the lid where the beast's backside fixes to the cover of the lid. Also one corner has a 3.5cm crack visible in close up images. The main body appears in good general overall original condition with no “major” problems or damage noted. The item comes complete with British Museum Department of Oriental Antiquities paperwork.
