THOMAS WOOLNER Sc. 1856: a bronze medallion plaque of Robert Browning in original circular wooden frame. Thomas Woolner was an original member of the Brotherhood of Pre-Raphaelites and was famed for his bronzes and medallion portraits of famous people. This plaque has been for many years on the exterior of a local property and is in weathered but crisp condition. The faded frame bears signs of worm. 9.75 inches.
