The reverse an enthroned figure of Empire flanked by many attendants and above shields for Asia, America, Europe, Australasia and Africa, signed F.L. for F. Leighton. A.I.F.), mounted for wearing, good very fine [3]; together with a mounted set of corresponding dress miniatures, a ribbon bar, and a bronze 'Anzac Medal', 59mm, by Dora Ohlfsen, nearly extremely fine. Suffered a severe gun shot wound, Gallipoli, c. 13th August 1915, which necessitated the amputation of his left leg.

Three Chinese pole arms, ornamental or processional types, each with a heavy bronze head embellished with relief decorations, the sockets in the forms of dragon heads: the first a trident, with three barbed tines; the next a spherical mace, with spike projecting from the top; the last a pike, with annular head in the form of a coiled snake terminating in a flamboyant point; each set on a stout wooden pole, each approximately 226 cm (89 in.), formed en suite as part of a set, late 19th or 20th century.
