Medal of Merit of the National Treasury of the Republic of Poland in Exile, awarded in the years 1960-1990. The medal is awarded in three classes - Bronze, Silver, Gold. The Main Commission of the National Treasury of the Republic of Poland in London (in exile), in consultation with the Minister of the Treasury, established the badge-medal of the National Treasury of the Republic of Poland. This decoration was awarded for special merits to activists, donors and payers of the National Treasury of the Republic of Poland and can be awarded to individuals, institutions and associations. The obverse of the medal shows the letters RP (Republic of Poland) in the middle, with the inscription: "National Treasury" in the rim, at the bottom a bunch of laurel leaves.Dimensions; 37mm

The Independence Medal with a diameter of 35 mm, made of bronze by W. Gontarczyk, shows on the front side in the central field the image of three hydras (Analogies of three invaders), pierced by three swords. The whole thing is enclosed in a double ring with the inscription: "To Independence Fighters". On the reverse, in a field enclosed in a single ring, the letters "RP" are placed in the middle. The set includes a medal of independence with a secondary ribbon and a diploma of awarding it. 36 - 44 cm. Condition as in the photos (W. Polish officer's salon buckle, introduced in 1928, worn with salon attire (during visits, receptions, balls, official receptions, family celebrations, in the theater). Buckle in accordance with the order book: "made of white metal (silver-plated bronze, oxidized) ) with an edge thickness of 3 mm, slightly concave towards the center, has a rim of 7 and ? mm wide, and in the circle thus created, with a diameter of 3.75 cm, there is a bas-relief depicting a male head wearing an ancient helmet. The convexity of the head drawing is approximately 3 mm. The buckle is attached to the belt using two bows made of 2 mm thick wire, made of the same metal as the buckle. The buckle is permanently attached to the right bow, and it is attached to the left bow with a clasp located underneath the buckle. RICHARD HESS 1937 - Berlin - 2017: Kleiner sitzender Torso. Weiblicher Akt auf Bank. Bronze 1988. Expl. 4/5. Mit dem Namenszug. Höhe: 21 cm. Breite: 10 cm. Tiefe: 17,5 cm. Hess war 1962/63 Meisterschüler bei B. Heiliger an der Hochschule für Bildende Künste in Berlin, 1968-71 Assistent von W. Grzimek an der Technische Hochschule in Darmstadt und hatte 1980-2002 die Professur für Plastisches Gestalten an der Fachhochschule Bielefeld inne. Er gilt seit den 1970er Jahren als wichtiger Vertreter der figürlich-realistischen deutschen Bildhauerkunst. Er schuf hauptsächlich vollplastische Arbeiten in Bronze; Seine Figuren gestaltete Hess als Ganzfiguren wie auch als Torsi, sie zeichnen sich durch eine körperbetonte Sinnlichkeit und eine teils monumentale Statuarik aus. Ihre ausgeprägt haptische Qualität resultiert aus dem bevorzugten gestalterischen Arbeiten mit Volumina. Das künstlerische Spektrum umfasst u.a. Porträtköpfe, Aktfiguren und Paare. EMY ROEDER, auch EMY ROEDER-GARBE Würzburg 1890 - 1971 Mainz: Die Sinnende. Auf einer Bank sitzende, in ein Tuch gehüllte Frau. Bronze mit kupferfarbener Patina um 1967. Nicht mehr bei Gerke. - Mit dem Monogramm am linken vorderen Bereich der Plinthe. Höhe: 43,5 cm. Breite: 21 cm. Tiefe: 23 cm. Roeder begann 1912/13 ihre künstlerische Ausbildung bei B. Hoetger in Darmstadt. Dieser brachte ihr eine moderne plastische Auffassung nahe, die sich auf Tektonik, Form und Material konzentrierte. Ihre Studien setzte sie als Meisterschülerin des Bildhauers H. Lederer an der Akademie der Künste in Berlin fort. Dort lernt sie auch ihren späteren Mann H. Gabe und namhafte Künstlern wie K. Kollwitz, E. Barlach und K. Schmidt-Rottluff kennen, war Mitglied der „Novembergruppe“ bzw. der „Freien Secession“ und regelmäßig auf wichtigen Ausstellungen vertreten. Seit 1933 in Italien ansässig, wurde sie während der Zeit des Nationalsozialismus mit einem Ausstellungsverbot belegt. Erst 1949/50 kehrte sie nach Deutschland zurück. Roeder gilt vorwiegend als Bildhauerin, auch wenn ihr Oeuvre zahlreiche Gemälde und Zeichnungen aufweist. In ihrem skulpturalen Werk dominiert neben Tierplastik und Porträt vor allem die weibliche Figur als Sujet. Zuerst als expressiv bewegte Figur entwickelt sich ihr Stil über eine am Kubismus orientierte Formensprache zum klassisch geprägten weibliche Akt sowie Gewandfiguren in Bronze, die den Einfluss von A. Maillol zeigen. Die 1950er Jahre sind durch ein intensives Porträtschaffen gekennzeichnet, während die in den 1960er Jahren gearbeiteten Frauenfiguren straffe, überlängt-schmale und kantige Form aufweisen, die in ihrer charakteristischen, reduzierten Bildsprache Emotionen und Gefühlszustände ausdrücken.
