A late 19th Century French black slate and gilt brass mounted three piece clock garniture, No. 12723, the 3.5ins diameter white enamelled dial inscribed Vilain Dubois of Bournes to the eight day two train movement striking on a bell, contained in black slate case modelled in the form of a fluted column base, surmounted by a bronze figure of a seated young woman holding a flower, 18.5ins high overall, and pair of gilt brass two-handled classical urns, the covers surmounted by standing figures, on conforming column bases, each 13.5ins high Provenance : Part of the remaining stock of Gaby's Clocks, 140 High Street, Tenterden, Kent TN30 6HT. Clock movement has been fully restored.
