Louis XIV on horseback, bronze, raised on an ebonised and brass boulle marquetry inlaid plinth, mid 19th century, 32in (81.3cm) h, 22.5in (57cm) w. The original sculpture commissioned by Louis-Phillippe in 1835 can be found at the Cour d`honneur, Versailles.

Sir Edgar Bertram Mackennal (Australian 1863-1931). A nude study of a lady leaning on a tree stump, plaster maquette, the reverse signed `B. Mackennal`, on an alabaster plinth, 18.5in (47cm) h, 10in (25.5cm) w. A bronze version of this sculpture was sold Christie`s Melbourne, 27th April 1998.
