A Laura Sturtz designed bronze insect chess set: one side in natural bronze, the other with verdigris, the king as a monarch butterfly, the queen a black widow spider, the bishop a praying mantis, the knight a scorpion, the rook a mud daubed nest and the pawns as ants, the king 8cm long, the pawn 7cm long, together with hardwood chess board 65 x 65cm and accompanying letter by the artist.

After Charles Cumberworth (Anglo-French, 1811-1852), a pair of patinated bronze figures of classical females "Innocence" and "Candor": one holding a dove to her breast, the other holding a serpent and bunch of flowers, both signed to the bronze C. Cumberworth and founder E Quesnal, bearing paper labels to the base, L'innocence and la Candeur, each 30.5cm high, (2).
*Enzo Plazzotta (1921-1981) 'Young Swedish Girl' : Bronze study of a nude female, her hands clasped behind her head, stamped to the bronze Plazzotta 3/9, together with foundry mark, mounted on a square polished marble base, overall height 53cm. sold with a volume of Enzo Plazzotta 'A Catalogue Raisonne', a Wildenstein Exhibition catalogue and with a bill of sale.
