French Commemorative Medal, bronze d.59mm: Failed Assassination of Napoleon, (medal) by Luigi Manfredini of Milan; this we believe referring to the Plot of the rue Saint-Nicaise 1800, dated 'Anno III', year 3 of what exactly, perhaps his protectorate of Milan 1801/1802? nEF with some surface marks and a slightly adjusted edge.

German Propaganda Medal, bronze d.50mm: Commemorating the emergency landing of the German Zeppelin at Luneville, Lorraine (French-German border) 3rd April 1913, EF, edge knock. The French boarded the Zeppelin to secure German engineering secrets before allowing it to refuel, considered a provocative act.
Italian / Russian / Austrian, Napoleonic era Commemorative Medal, bronze d.48mm: Alexander Suvorov, Liberator of Italy medal 1799, by C.K. Kuchler, EF, some scratches. Alexander Suvorov was a remarkable, elderly Russian general who led the Austro-Russian army to victory against Napoleon's forces in Italy. The other half of the Russian army under General Korsakov was shortly defeated in Switzerland, and Suvorov was ordered to withdraw from the conflict. His strategic retreat earned him the nickname - the Russian Hannibal. Suvorov was somehow blamed by the Tsar for the defeat at Zurich, and received a relatively modest funeral in 1800, but is considered a national hero today.

Seal, double-sided swivel mounted bronze 25mm: 'N. RIZESCU, OFITER DE INTENDENTA' Romanian coat of arms. One side a seal for wax, the other an ink stamp. Comes with an original leather case, reminiscent of some kind of WWI field issue. It seems 'Intendent' translates to 'Quartermaster' in some circumstances.

Faustina silver denarius, Rome Mint 141 A.D., reverse:- Juno, Sear - , obverse scuffed [possibly a core of a contemporary forgery], GF, ditto but of Septimus Severus, Rome Mint 200 A.D., Sear 6333, GVF, ditto but of Caracalla, Rome Mint 205 A.D., Sear 6859, scuffs GF and lastly a small bronze of Theodosius I, of Antioch, see Sear 20562, with a nice pen and ink ticket, NVF [4]
