Ferdinand Pautrot (1832-1874) bronze sculpture Depicting a bird attacking an insect, raised on naturalistic form plinth base, signed to rim, height 17cm, length 15cm. CONDITION REPORT: Lot: 10 Bright section to the top edge of a wing, a little wear on high points of leaves to patination. Bird and branch section loose on base. Wooden panel under base missing some of wood and paper cover.

A Chinese Export crackle glaze vase, early 20th Century Of baluster form, rising to a swept circular neck with scalloped rim, the body applied with archaic style bronze mounts, and shishi handles, the typical ivory crackle glaze painted with a procession of figures on horseback with dignitaries and subordinates, 35.5cm high, with applied archaic style mark to base. CONDITION REPORT: Lot 1034 Extensive darkening and yellowing to the glaze throughout Small chips to the exterior rim, each are not hugely noticeable and smaller than 0.5cm in size Small losses/glaze chips to relief areas Minor loss to enamel throughout
A Chinese polished bronze censer, Xuande seal mark (1426-1435), 19th Century Of bombe form, rising from a short splayed base and extending to a everted rim, flanked by short loop handles, the exterior with natural patination, cast mark to underside of base, 10cm high, 15cm diam. CONDITION REPORT: Lot 1048: Natural patination to the interior and exterior sides Minor scratching to the exterior sides Small crack to the upper rim, approx 1cm in length The interior well appears to have a lacquered finish possibly indicating it has be over painted Noticeable pitting tot the interior and exterior surface Small losses/pitting to the exterior surface Total weight 64.5oz
An unusual Japanese Bronze figure of a grasshopper, Taisho period (1912-1926) or Showa Period (1926-1989) The finely modelled figure modelled as an abstract form of a grasshopper, unsigned, 12cm long. CONDITION REPORT: minor wear indicative of age please note there are no visible signatures the figure is not articulated and the legs are fixed one antenna missing to the head area
A Chinese cloisonné bowl, Late Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) Of rounded squat form, raised on a low footring, inset with gold wirework depicting carp swimming, below a ruyi banded upper border, with allover polychrome enamels, reserved against a turquoise ground, Xuande four-character mark to base, 6cm high, 19.5cm diam. CONDITION REPORT: Lot 1074: minor loss and pitting to the enamel throughout. Free from impact cracks or structural damage. Overall significant surface dirt, which requires specialist cleaning. Neutral verdigns and patination to the bronze throughout
A Chinese bronze censer, Xuande character mark (1425-1435), 19th Century Of typical bombe form, raised from a splayed base and terminating at an everted upper rim, either side of the body flanked by twin cast dragon handles, the scrolling tails applied to the sides of the body, with allover good polished patination, cast character mark to base, 12.5cm high, 15.5cm diam. CONDITION REPORT: Extensive patination wear and darkening to the interior. Small chip/loss to the footrim, approx 0.5cm in size. Extensive scratching/patination to the exterior. Large repair to the side, approx 4cm x 3cm in size, this area now as a patched area, small secondary patch, approx 1cm x 1cm in size.
