John Rattenbury Skeaping R.A. (1901-1980), a bronze sculpture of Lady Godiva upon a rearing horse, she modelled as a nude Amazonia female with long flowing hair, signed to the base John R Skeaping (1968) upon a green marble plinth, this design was commissioned by Leonard Lee, formally of racing engines project at Coventry Climax and later Victorius Godiva Fire Pump Racing Engines 1954-1965. The originals of this design each have the name of the recipient engraved along the side, bearing signature. Height 33.5 cm, length 41 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The bronze is in extremely good order. There are no breaks and no losses. The patination is good and there are no significant scuffs, marks or scratches. The marble plinth is in good condition all round with no issues.
A late 19th century Arts & Crafts copper coal receiver, planished, with wrought metalwork supports, and a pair of bronze fire dogs. Tallest 44 cm. CONDITION REPORT: Depth 28.5 cm, top internal diameter 30 cm, base internal diameter 22.5 cm. The piece is structurally sound. The handles are secure as are the three bracket supports. There do not appear to be any holes or significant dents to the copper.
A Chinese Han dynasty style bronze Kylin, its body inlaid with gold coloured metal stripes and scrolls and with archaic character marks to its chest, 37 cm long, 22.5 cm high (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The Kylin is in generally very good condition. It is structurally sound with no losses. There is clearly some rubbing to the gilding and losses to the original finish particularly around the bottom sections of the legs and feet. There is no evidence of any damage, repairs or restoration.
A Japanese bronze incense burner, with cover and stand, Meiji period, the cover surmounted by a hawk upon a rock in turn above the melon form body with shaped panels of relief cast dragons, minogame, phoenix and a temple lion, with cast pendant drops held by elephant masks, the stand supported by three dragons with further pendant drops upon a shaped circular base centred on a minogame against a scale border, cast seal mark to the underside of the melon form body. Height 73 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: Weight 16.4 kg.

CONDITION REPORT: The dates of the Australian pennies are one 1942, one 1943 and one 1922.

SAMUEL TONKISS (1909-1992) PORTRAIT HEAD OF LAURENCE STEPHEN LOWRY, RA bronze, cast by the Maurice Singer Foundry, London, 1975, serpentine base, 33cm hThe sculptor Samuel Tonkiss was born in Shropshire and moved to Todmorden, Yorkshire where he worked as a journalist. In 1959 he began to sculpt a series of portrait heads, several of which were cast in small editions. His earlier head of Lowry, sculpted in 1971, is in the National Portrait Gallery, London. The present bust would appear to be extra to the edition of 36 Good condition
