A RARE EARLY 19TH CENTURY FRENCH BRONZE AND ORMOLU AUTOMATION MANTEL CLOCK surmounted by a silvered bronze cat with glass eyes and nodding head seated on an ormolu cushion, the case with ormolu acanthus leaf mould enclosing a 3.5" silvered dial with Roman numerals fronting an eight-day spring driven movement with outside countwheel striking the hours/half hours on a bell48cm highThe case is complete with no losses. Some very minor surface scratches in the lacquered finish around the base. The silvery in the dial is discoloured, the cat has rubbing to the silvered finish. The movement does run and strikes the correct hours and the head nods back and fourth. The movement is dirty and will require a service.

AN EARLY 19TH CENTURY FRENCH FIGURAL BRONZE AND SIENNA MARBLE MANTEL CLOCK modelled as a winged cherub studying beside an oil lamp standing on a bronze mounted sienna marble base enclosing a 3" gilt dial with Roman numerals fronting an eight-day spring driven movement with silk suspension striking on a bell 43cm high This clock comes with a winding key and a regulating key. It has its original pendulum and ticks and strikes correctly but may need a service. The case is in very nice condition with no damage to the marble and good patternation to the bronze. It is in working condition. Strikes the correct hours.
A 19TH CENTURY BRONZE AND CAST IRON STARTING CANNON with painted and gilt high-lighted carriage fitted ramrod and patinated bronze cannon36cm wide. This is in very nice unrestored original condition. Minor chips and losses to the paintwork on the wheels and carriage. Nice patternation to the bronze on the canon with no pitting or damage. In good overall condition. Strong action to the hammer.

AN IMPRESSIVE 19TH CENTURY CHINESE CELADON PORCELAIN TAPERING VASE WITH GILT BRONZE MOUNTS having floral branchwork decoration, with mask head side handles and leaf cast mouldings; raised on a square socle base58cm high Viewed under a UV light. The vase has been heavily restored with cracks running from the handles on the body. It does sit flat and is stable. Extra images have been uploaded.
A PAIR OF FRENCH EMPIRE BRONZE AND ORMOLU CANDLESTICKS with griffin mounts and triform pedestal bases17cm high One of the candlesticks' legs is bent and leans slightly, they are both loose at the joints and would require tightening, one of the socles is slightly misshapen and has a dent to the body, suggesting one has been dropped in the past, the bases are in good order.
A 19TH CENTURY CHINESE BRONZE CENSER AND LID MOUNTED ON A HARDWOOD STAND with pierced dragons head and cloud lid above a bulbous body with relief mounted sea creatures and dragon-shaped handles; raised on foo dog feet - signed character mark, mounted on a pierced hardwood stand.46cm high The lid has a small knock on the rim and the dragon's head. The body has a missing head to one of the applied animals, a loose leg and a drilled hole through one foot. The hardwood base has a piece missing and another cracked piece of carving (see images).

AN ITALIAN COLOURED MARBLE AND BRONZE 'GRAND TOUR' SCULPTURE modelled as a Roman bath on a moulded bead-edged plinth base.17cm wide, 7cm high There are natural flaws to the bottom edges and underside of the base but no damage or restoration. The marble bath again is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or restoration.

There are very fine hairline cracks to both dials, it will require attention.
