* DAVID SHRIGLEY, VIBES offset lithograph on paper, signed, unnumbered edition of 250, published for The Big Issue image size 70cm x 50 cm, overall size 83cm x 63cm Mounted, framed and under glass. Note: David Shrigley attended Glasgow School of Art from 1988-91 where he studied environmental art. He works in many disciplines including drawing, photography, painting, sculpture, animation and music. The variety of projects he is involved with are multi-faceted ranging from the video for Blur’s ‘Good Song’ to ‘Kingsley’ Shrigley’s mascot for the Scottish football team Partick Thistle to ‘Really Good’ a sculpture of a bronze fist with upraised, out of proportion thumb which he created for the Fourth plinth in Trafalgar Square. Shrigley was created an O.B.E. in 2020 for services to the visual arts. Recent notable exhibitions include those in Glasgow, Germany and Sweden and he was nominated for the Turner Prize in 2013. His work is held in a number of important public collections including the National Galleries of Scotland and Tate.

Motive sind Athleten, Akte, Tierfiguren, Schmiede, Tänzerinnen, Hirten, mythologische Gestalten, Schwertkämpfer, Götter, Sportler etc. Sein Wirken ist nachweisbar für die Zeit zwischen 1898 und 1922. Motiv: Antikisierender nackter Speerwerfer beim Ausholen zum Wurf des locker in der Rechten liegenden Sportgeräts. Auf einer amorphen Bronze - Plinthe stehend, scheint der Athlet eine modellhafte Pose einzunehmen.Bronze, auf der Plinthe signiert „S. Schwatenberg“. Als Sockel dient ein schwarzer polierter und oktogonal geschliffener Onyx (?). Gesamt - Höhe: 22 cm.

Ernst Seger: Nowa Ruda (Neurode, Polen) 1868 - 1939 Berlin. Schlesischer Bildhauer und Medailleur, insbesondere Bronzen, Elfenbein-, Alabaster und Marmorausführungen. Studium bei Chr. Behrens und bei Auguste Rodin. Seger hatte ein eigenes Atelier in Berlin. Seine Motive sind Akte, Tänzerinnen, Athleten, Tiere, Allegorien, Arbeiter etc. Vorliegende Figur: Chryselephantine, erstes Viertel 20. Jahrhundert, unbezeichnet. Motiv: Eine Stein - Treppe herabschreitende orientalische Tempeltänzerin mit langem, hüftig geschnittenem Rock (Bronze) und nacktem Oberkörper (Elfenbein), die Arme vor ihrer Brust verschränkt, geschmückt mit Diadem und Armspangen. Seitlich der Treppe eine auf einem Sockel lagernde Sphinx (Bronze). Höhe: 18 cm. Sockel rückwärtig leicht bestoßen, zwei kleine Abhängungen des Kopfschmucks verloren, Frisur ehemals gerissen, repariert. Josef Hinterseher: München 1873 - 1955. Deutscher Bildhauer. Seine Motive, die sowohl in Bronze als auch in Marmor/ gearbeitet sind, sind Tiere, Akte, Naturdarstellungen, mythologische Szenen, Faune, Nymphen. Studium an der Münchner Kunstakademie, seit 1906 Studium in Paris, nach dem 2. Weltkrieg in München ansässig. Ausstellungen im Münchner Glaspalast und auf dem Pariser Salon. Motiv: Über profilierter roter Marmorplinthe die weiße Marmor - Skulptur eines sich küssenden Liebespaares, auf felsartigem Grund lagernd. Der hinter der Frau kniende Mann neigt sich liebevoll zu der vor ihm sitzenden Geliebten, die sich ihm seitlich zuwendet und mit ihrem linken Arm seine Schulter umfaßt. Marmor (es existiert auch eine Version in Bronze), Format ca. 66 x 27 x 48 cm. Im hellen Marmorsockel signiert „J. Hinterseher“. Lit.: Thieme/Becker Bd. 17, S. 118; Benezit Bd. 7, S. 61.

Runder Glockenstand, der Schaft in der unteren Hälfte balustriert, darüber drei Scheiben in der Art gotischer Scheibenleuchter, darin eingehängt sechs Leuchterarme, die eine durchgehende Tragefläche tragen, in die acht Tüllen mit Tropfschalen eingeschraubt sind. Zentral ein plastisch ausgebildeter Löwe mit Wappenschild (Stadtwappen von Amsterdam). Höhe: ca. 60 cm, Breite: ca. 74 cm.

Emailliertes weißes Zifferblatt mit römischen Stundenziffern und arabischer Minuterie, zwei Aufzüge bei IV und VIII. Rundes Messingwerk, Fadenpendelaufhängung, Schlag auf Glocke.
