GEORG (GYÖRGY) VON KOVATS Klausenburg /Ungarn 1912 - 1927 Gauting b. München: Sitzender kleiner Vogel. Bronze mit Montierungsvorichtung. Höhe: 4 cm. Breite: 4,5 cm. Tiefe: 7 cm. Mit wenigen schwarzen Fleckchen. Kovats studierte 1931/34 an der Wiener Akademie, anschließend in Budapest, Florenz und Preßburg. 1935/37 war er Schüler an der Dresdner Akademie bei K. Albiker und hielt sich 1938 in Paris bei C. Despiau auf bevor er bis 1945 Meisterschüler von R. Scheibe in Berlin wurde. [bg]
