Ground in bleu celeste, with tooled gilding and two enamelled panels, one depicting a landscape and the other a Classical maiden with attending putti, signe G. Poitevin, 77.5cm. Condition Report. An eighteenth century Sevres breakfast cup and saucer converted to an inkwell with gilt bronze mounts. Ground in gros bleu, with seaweed gilding and having jeweled cartouches containing a scene with a courting couple and flower sprigs. Painted crossed L mark Condition Report. The central clock is surmounted by two putti and raised on rococo scrolls. The panels are ground in bleu celeste and finely enamelled with hunting cherubs. A nineteenth century bronze novelty inkwell. Formed as a coiled serpent raised with glass eyes and raised on a rockwork base. Hinging to reveal a compartment below inscribed Ben W. Hawkins published Feb 5 1850, 13cm high. Condition Report. To be used as a guide only. Other models suggest that the piece should also incorporate a compass. No damage.
A nineteenth century patinated and parcel gilt bronze twin branch oil lamp. With an associated eagle finial over an urn shaped pediment surmounted by a pair of birds, with twin scrolling branches supporting the sconces issuing from a central boss with an open close mechanism. Raised on a square baluster pedestal ornamented with baskets of flowers and raised on a stepped plinth with scrolling feet, 53cm. Condition Report. To be used as a guide only. No breaks. Burners look incomplete, probably converted.
