A pair of bronze twin branch candelabra, the first featuring Cupid finial (lacking bow) and the second a dancing boy, apparently unmarked, height of first and slightly taller 17cm (2). Additional InformationCupid lacking most of the bow as stated, only the lower half remaining, the piece with the dancing boy finial has a loose sconce which will need some attention, further general wear, scratches, marks etc throughout.
AFTER CLAUDE MICHEL CLODION; a large gilt bronze figure group of two classical females beside a putto, raised on rouge marble gilt metal mounted circular base, height including base 66cm.Additional InformationThe figure standing upright with hands in the air has right leg loose with movement, pronounced scratches to her tambourine/instrument, movement also to her left arm, a circle to the thigh of her left leg suggesting a possible point of repair, please refer to picture, further similar spots or circles to the back of the satyr, there is a solder type mark to the satyr's left arm and one can feel a ridge but cannot say whether this was a later repair or from manufacture, please see picture, further spots of circles to the right arm of the lower figure where it is wrapped around the other figure visible from the reverse, again see picture, some stress marks probably present from manufacture including to the upright figure's right wrist and forearm, general wear throughout including rubbing to gilding, surface scratches and marks.
