A Sienna marble and bronze clock garniture, 19th century, the eight day movement chiming on a bell surmounted by a bronze swan and four cygnets and to the side St Vincent de Paul holding a child, a further child at his feet with ormolu embellishments, clock 46.5 cm high, vases 26.5 cm high. NOTE - St Vincent de Paul, circa 1580-1660, was a French priest of humble peasant origin who devoted his life to the relief of the poor. His was commonly depicted in the act of rescuing destitute children (see illustration).
A pair of bronze stags after Moignier, each raised on a marble base, height 72 cm. CONDITION REPORT: These are of recent manufacture and therefore have had very little time for any damage to occur. The left hand stag has a more red tone to its colour than its partner. The marble bases upon which these are mounted are in good order. From a distance these are still quite impressive.
A pair of Chinese bronze dragon vases, circa 1900, with relief cast dragon around the neck above further relief decoration of flying crane and deer amongst bamboo beneath engraved geometric bands and with pseudo four character Xuande mark, each on ebonised stands and a Chinese temple bell with relief cast dragon and sacred pearl decoration suspended in a carved cloud ebonised stand, vases excluding stand 25 cm, temple bell 37 cm.
A gilt bronze desk standish, late 19th century, with octagonal inkwells with flame finials and foliate scrolling feet on a mother of pearl ground with twin pen rests, the base with engraved foliate scroll decoration and supported upon four cast scrolling feet, width 21 cm, height 12 cm (see illustration).
A French Art Nouveau patinated bronze and mother of pearl letter opener, circa 1900. the handle formed as a medallion with a cast profile bust of a lady depictive of the elements, one facing a flaming volcano the other exhaling air with a dove in the background, all supported on an Art Nouveau stylised iris and leaf stem in tones of green and reddy brown, with mother of pearl blade, the metalwork with co-joined monogram "HB". Length 16.4 cm (see illustration).
A pair of cold painted book ends, modelled as Dante and Beatrice, 20th century with cast marks verso for the Pompeian Bronze Co, height 18 cm and 17.5 cm respectively. CONDITION REPORT: Dante has a lot of the paint missing from his shoulders and arms. He has surface scratches on the top right hand corner of his chest. There are small dents in his hat to the centre front and directly above in the fold. There are numerous small little dents in the fold of his cap at the back. There are further surface scratches to the red ground of his jacket on the reverse but basically he his all intact. Beatrice has some gilding rubbing beneath her chin and neck and also on her chest. The green of her dress has been 70% erased leaving the bare metal. There are small surface marks to the red paint on her collar and arms. There are further small surface scratches to the red paint in her head dress at the rear. The gilt decoration on her right hand shoulder is rubbed at the front and rear. There is further gilt rubbing above her left eye. The gilding to the front of her hair has also been rubbed. Other than that she is structurally sound. Both are rather decorative.

Group of ancient bronze Islamic coins, mainly with script only, one within hexafoil another marked with a star (24)provenance: Collected by the French grandfather of the owner, an amateur scholar and enthusiast of ancient civilizations who assembled the small collection of jewellery and coins in Europe and later in Syria where he was stationed during the 1930's. .

A good pair of Chinese cloisonne dragon ewers Qianlong six-character marks and probably of the period The ovoid vessels rising to a knopped neck and rounded spout, applied with sinuous five-clawed dragon handles, the body decorated with competing five-clawed dragons chasing a flaming pearl amid clouds beneath a ruyi border, the neck with lotus flowers and scrolling foliage, all on unfilled bronze grounds. 28cm high Both handles re-attached. Some small shallow dents and small enamel losses in places.
A large bronze Chinese moon flask 18th/19th Century Of flattened globular form, the cylindrical neck applied with twin dragon handles, the front applied in high relief with ducks perched amid lotus pads, the reverse with a fruiting vine, within bowstring and fret borders against a ground of archaistic motifs. 40.5cm high Part of the fruiting vine missing, revealing an irregular hole to the middle of the reverse side. General wear throughout including surface pitting and dints. Foot slightly dented on both sides.
A Chinese bronze Islamic market censer Xuande six-character mark and possibly period Of bellied form with twin ring handles, raised on three peg feet, the sides cast with cartouches of Arabic script. 11.5cm dia. Heavy wear to the rim with dents and nibbles. Handles with nibbles to the edges. One foot dented at the tip. General wear throughout.
An Austrian cold painted bronze mosque table lamp In the manner of Franz Bergman Modelled as a square mosque building with dome and minaret, inside two figures pray on a large rug while a third figure calls from the minaret, fitted for electric illumination. 40cm high Electrical fittings require replacement. Object missing from front step. Minor wear to paint in places.
