A circa 1885 46-inch bicycle from this rare but quality East of England maker, it comprises a bronze hub on captured main bearings, original spokes with a ¾-inch crescent rim with black tyring, accentuated oval backbone supporting a leaf spring and padded saddle on an original pan. The deep-set hooped 26-inch handlebars have original turned bone grips and brass collars, with brake lever fulcrums, but without a spoon brake mechanism. Unusually, the bicycle has two name shields fixed to the backbone and headstock. Pedals complete the ensemble

Feine Figur eines Sakya-Patriarchen, wohl Sakya Pandita (1182-1251). Feuervergoldete Bronze. Tibet. Der Patriarch sitzt mit gekreuzten Beinen auf einem doppelten Lotosthron, die rechte Hand erhoben in vitarka mudra, die linke zeigt nach unten, er trägt den typischen Sakya-Hut und ist gekleidet in Mönchsgewänder, deren Säume mit floralem Dekor geschmückt sind, die Mönchsweste mit geometrischem Muster.
