An Art Deco marble, onyx and bronze eight day mantel clock, surmounted with a patinated bronze bird signed 'F H Danvin', 34cm H x 48cm W CONDITION REPORT: The bird with loss to most of the surface coating revealing the bronze beneath. The white circular section which the bird sits on has a small chip at the front and is loose. There is a small chip to the top edge of the hexagonal section at the back. the dial is tarnished throughout. There is no key or pendulum. Not currently running.

On the other side, the Savoy eagle with figures, horses and angels. Pitting from falling on one side. An exceptional medal in original case. diameter 12 cm.

dating: circa 1900 provenance: Russia, An in-the-round, bronze sculpture. Three imperial soldiers make their horses drink in the river. Men in their ordinance uniform, portrayed with a rifle and sabre, the central one smoking a pipe. The horses with their harness and some fur. The big pedestal, embossed as well, of elliptical shape, with rather high border, portraying the shore with some trunks and part of the stream; a Cyrillic signature in the front part and stamping (with Cyrillic characters as well), dated '1874'. Some small defect, a detached rifle and signs of time. The group depicted with good technique and fine proportions. Recasting from Lanceray. work. dimensions 114 x 72 x 64 cm.

dating: 1799 provenance: London, Wide, curved, single-and false-edged blade with large, central fuller, first part engraved with a soldier on horse and trophies on a blue ground, royal, crowned monogram 'GR' and floral motifs; fine, iron, mono-quillon hilt, finely decorated and chiselled with beaded bands and grooves, partially engraved with floral motifs, langets with a trophy. Wooden, leather-covered grip with iron wire binding. Wooden, leather-covered scabbard with iron mounts, pierced and engraved with trophies and floral motifs, cap with oval, bronze medallion, with inscription 'Presented to Major Patterson by the Officers, Non Comm. Officers & Privates of his Troops Light Dragoons 1799'. Manufacturer 'Knubley & Co. No. 7 Charing Cross London' on the opposite side. Two suspension rings. length 96 cm.

Wooden, spiral grip without wire binding. Iron scabbard with two, brass bands, decorated en suite. Two suspension rings. length 107 cm.

dating: 19th Century provenance: Japan, Shaped as a bridge, wooden, embossed and lacquered in red and black, upper part chiselled with a bird on one side, a gilded mon among two chrysanthemums on the other, that can be found also on the upper band that joins the two parts. Bronze mounts (one is missing). dimensions 61.5 x 35.2 x 23.7 cm.
