BRONZE OF A GERMAN SHEPHERD - SIGNED signed L Riche, naturalistically modelled and on a fruitwood stand. Plaque reads, Les Amis D`Aniane A Mr J Almes, Xbre 1923, and stamped Unis France. 14ins (36cms) high *Louis Riche was born in Paris and first exhibited at the Salon in 1896 at the age of 19. He produced many animal subjects but is best known for his models of German Shepherds.
