-- Der frühe Motoradsport - Dokumentation eines Clubs 1925-1934-- Motorrad Sport Club Schwanheim. Ausfahrtenbücher des M.S.C.S. zu Schwanheim. Deutsche Handschrift auf Papier. 2 Bände. Je ca. 35 Zeilen. 379 (286 stempelpag.) S.; 192 (56 stempelpag.) S. Format 33 x 21 cm. Mit 24 einmontierten Fotografien. Halbleinen d. Z. (etwas angestaubt, fleckig, abgegriffen) mit Leinenecken und leeren Deckelschildern. Schwanheim bei Frankfurt 1925-1938.Sehr umfangreiches historisch hochinteressantes Dokumentationsmaterial des damals in den (hier sogar hörbar wahrzunehmenden!) "Roaring Twenties" zu einiger Bekanntheit gekommenen "M.S.C.S.", des Motorrad Sport Club zu Schwanheim, der hier in seinen Sitzungsprotokollen ebenso wie in dem Fahrtenbuch minutiös alle stattgefundene Aktionen, Exkursionen, Beschlüsse auflistet und beschreibt. So gibt die Lektüre, die der wissenschaftlichen Aufarbeitung noch harrt, tiefe Einblicke in die Geschichte der frühen Automobilität und insbesondere des Motorradsports. Und gleichzeitig reflektiert sie auch die sich in den frühen dreißiger Jahren drastisch ändernden politischen Zustände, was auch für die allgemeine historische Forschung zur ersten Hälfte des 20. Jahrhundert von höchstem Interesse sein dürfte. Buch I hebt an: "Protokoll über die am 25. Jan. 25 stattgefundene 2. Zusammenkunft, welche sich als Gründungs-Versammlung des M.S.C.S. auswirkte". Es folgen die Organisation und Satzung des Vereins: "Auf Grund eines zweiten Rundschreibens von Seiten des Herrn Hans-Wachendörfer hierselbst wurden sämtliche Motorradfahrer als Interessenten ins Restaurant 'Zum Römer' hier, Hauptstr. 11 zusammengerufen zwecks nochmaliger Aussprache ... Nach kurzem Meinungsaustausch wurde dann auch der Club ins Leben gerufen als Gründer endstehend aufgeführte Herren verzeichnet ..." Es folgen die Namen und die Unterschriften sowie alle weiteren Protokolle des frühen Motorclubs bis zum "Protokoll der am 17. Februar 1934 stattgefundenen General-Versammlung".Es werden Fahrten in der Frankfurter Gegend, im den hessischen Berglandschaften, im Taunus veranstaltet, Wettbewerbe abgehalten, Feste und Feiern begangen, über einheitliche Trikots diskutiert, Bälle und Clubabende organisiert und vieles mehr. Nach der Machtergreifung 1933 sind immer mehr Austritte (wohl auch der jüdischen Mitglieder) zu verzeichnen, bis der Club dann 1934 - zur Gleichschaltung gezwungen - über seine Auflösung oder den Anschluss an das "Führerprinzip" diskutiert: "[…] Weiter habe er noch bekannt gegeben, daß Herr Bieri seinen Austritt aus dem Club erklärte, es sehr bedauerlich daß er ohne irgendwelchen Grunde dem Club den Rücken kehre", "Der 1. Vorsitzende gibt bekannt, daß Herr Ferdi Acht seinen Austritt aus dem Club erklärt habe" (12. Mai 1933). "Der 1. Vorsitzende gibt bekannt, daß wir, infolge der politischen Verhältnisse die moralische Pflicht hätten, uns auf das Führerprinzip umzustellen und unsere Satzungen umzuändern." "[...] platzintern haben wir auch zwei Preise erhalten; einmal eine Bronze-Plakette auf Holz mit dem Bildnis unseres Reichskanzlers Adolf Hitlers, das andermal eine Biercaraffe". (17. Februar 1934). Der zweite Band enthält u. a.: "Fahrtbericht zu unserer Anfahrt am 19.3.28 nach Eberstadt", "Fahrtbericht z. II. Pflichtfahrt am 25/3.28 nach Wiesbaden z. Landesgruppen-Hpt.-Versammlung", "Fahrtbericht z. Gesellschaftsfahrt am 15.4.28 nach Wicker", "Ruppertshain", "in den Odenwalt", "Schloss Lindenfels", "Ilbeshausen am Vogelsberg", "Saalburg-Lochmühle" und viele, viele Orte mehr bis zum letzten enthaltenen "Fahrtbericht der Gesellschaftsfahrt am 7. September 1930 nach dem Hattsteinweiher". - Im Block kaum Gebrauchsspuren, sehr sauber und gut lesbar geschrieben. - Beiliegen: 11 originale Plaketten. O. 1877-1884.Der erste Brief wohl an eine Bedienstete, die beiden anderen an das Hofjuwelier-Geschäft Gebr. Friedländer. "Ich habe, glaube ich, vergessen, Ihnen zu sagen, Sie möchten die beiden blauen u. weißen Porzellane u. Bronzen auch einpacken und nach Berlin zur Reparatur schicken. Die beiden kleinen braunen Bronzen sind ja wohl gleich nach unserer Abreise hin gekommen? An die Lampen- u. Bronze-Fabrik von H. Stobwasser u. Comp: Aktiengesellschaft. Berlin U. d. Linden 28. oder haben Sie sie in die Wilhelmstr. 76 an meine Adresse geschickt - nachdem wir schon hier in Kissingen waren? ... Haben Sie auch Betten u. Matratzen gesonnt u. geklopft? Das Wetter war u. ist so wunderschön dazu" [Kissingen 21.VI.1877]. - Im Schreiben vom 16.XII.1884 bittet sie den Juwelier Friedländer um seinen Besuch, um seine Rechnungen zu bezahlen. - In einem weiteren Billet fragt sie bei Friedländer an: "Ist das Muschel-Glasbrett [?] für meinen Sohn noch nicht fertig? Ich vergaß vorher zu fragen ...". - Faltenrisse, teils laienhaft repariert.
