A late 19th century French bronze and gilt bronze mantel clock, as a standing prize bull surmounted with gilt bronze clock, with raised white enamel Roman numerals, twin winding holes for an eight day brass cylinder movement striking on a bell, the drum case further surmounted with a winged cherub upon a scallop shell and adorned with fruiting vines and flowers, the whole raised upon a rouge marble stepped plinth with gilt bronze paw feet, h.61.5cm Condition Report / Extra Information The string from Cupids' bow is partially wrapped around the bow, it possibly should be in his outstretched hand. Join at arms can clearly be seen. Hinge to dial cover is loose. Winding hole between 7 and 8 appears to have been drilled to fit the movement, with evidence of previous aperture. Chipped to corner of marble base.

A Meiji period, circa 1875 Japanese bronze lidded Incense Burner or Koro, the lid having a Dragon finial and the bowl being held aloft by a Japanese Oni or horned devil figure. All highly decorated with multiple cast textures and shapes and the lid ventilated to allow the incenses to circulate, 31 cms tall including lid.

An impressive cast bronze circular ships crest to HMS Drake mounted on a wooden shield 23cms diameter. With label to the reverse which reads: Boats Badge of HMS Drake (the Naval Barracks in Devonport) to which WH Higson reported in 1938 (Munich Crisis) and where he served until becoming CO Coastal Forces Northern Ireland in 1943 (for the duration of WW2).
