Three early 20th Century Oriental carved hardwood figures to include a tiger with a rider on its back, damages and losses, height 42cm, together with a figure of a seated Buddha, height 13cm, S/D, a figure of a fisherman holding a large fish under his arm, height 19cm and a metal seated figure with a goat in a bronze effect finish, width 6cm. (4)
After the Antique; a 19th century bronze figure of Apollo in the manner of Giacomo Zoffoli, modelled standing besides a tree trunk supporting a lyre, on a moulded platform base, 17.5cm high CONDITION REPORT: The lyre is loose, there are no strings and it is lacking the top left small crossbar on the left hand side where it would join to the left arm of the instrument. Bronze with a two tone patina throughout. SOme light surface scratches and general knocks but overall ok.
A Japanese bronze vase, Meiji period, 1868 - 1912, of baluster shape with gilt highlighted and incised village landscape to the exterior, 23cm high, with a Japanese boxwood netsuke of a horse, signed, 4cm wide (at fault), a Black Forest type carved musical bowl, 30cm wide, a Victorian Rosewood book slide, 46cm wide open, a cased set of three stirrup cups, a brinzed model of a hound, 4cm high and a Victorian mahogany box and cover, 23.5cm wide (7)
A late 19th century French bronze and gilt brass figural comport, the bow with floral encrusting, supported on a stem modelled as a kneeling female figure, 18cm H (as found) CONDITION REPORT: Saucer is fixed to the base and it is not possible to see the underside of the saucer. Saucer with some rubbing to gilding, crazed and with some light surface scratches. One of the flower heads is detached (some chips to this). Two of the other flowers heads with a chip, a couple of the others with tiny nibbles. General Tarnishing and patina to metal surface.
