dating: 18th/19th Century provenance: Tibet, Peak with trident surmounted with the skull, two heads, bronze vase, then with brass vishvavajra. Iron shaft. Bottom with half, brass vajra. The elements are in their conventional position. Complete with a pendant in polychrome fabric, embroidered and adorned with fringes. height 52 cm.
dating: 1830-40 provenance: Sardinian Kingdom, Curved, single-and short false-edged blade, with cylindrical back, engraved with gilded arm trophies and armour at the forte, stars on one side, crescents on the other, one side with flowers. Gilded, bronze hilt with stirrup-guard. Langets with anchor surmounted by Savoy crown on a dotted ground. Leaf-shaped ring-nut. Fine, long cap ending in a lion's head. Guard's base with a shell. Ivory grip with metallic wire binding. No scabbard. length 97,5 cm.
dating: 10th Century provenance: Northern Europe, Wide, straight, double-edged blade with central fuller, with fine structure in damask, well visible on a cleaned part of the fuller. Bronze, rectangular quillon with round end and short quillons, decorated with silver inlays. Bronze pommel, of typical shape, in two pieces, decorated en suite. length 88.5 cm.
dating: 1790 provenance: Germany or Austria, Composed of a knife and two-prong fork. Knife with wide, single-edged blade; grips with bronze grip scales, engraved with floral and geometrical motifs, pommels marked '1790' and 'IHS'. Leather scabbard with geometrical decorations and marked 'S 802' and 'INRI'. length 23.5 - 25 cm.
dating: Early 19th Century provenance: England, Curved, single-and short false-edged blade. Bronze hilt with quillon, langet in the front part, decorated with flowers in relief, counter-curved quillons, adorned with leaves. Grip covered with fish skin, with metallic strap. Long, bronze cap, shaped as lion's head. Chain-guard. Scabbard with bronze mounts, decorated en suite with the quillon. Covered with red leather (later?). Two lugs. Cap signed 'Tho.s Gills LONDON'. Scarce. length 44,5 cm.
dating: circa 1800 provenance: Hessen, Straight, single-and short false-edged blade, tip, with fuller through all the length, engraved at the forte on both facets; monogram 'L' on one side, surmounted with crown (Louis I?), an effigy of a deer and signature 'P. Knecht', base with geometrical engravings; crowned shield on the opposite side, with rampant lion, hunting arm trophy, caption 'Solingen' and geometrical engravings. Tang stamped 'SOLINGEN'. Smooth, bronze hilt, ring-buts with thin outlines. Ivory grip scales. Black, leather scabbard with bronze mounts, carved en suite, cap with front compartment and acorn-shaped button. Accompanying knife with single-edged blade and horn grip scales. length 77,5 cm.
dating: Mid 19th Century provenance: Naples, Curved, single-and false-edged blade, tip, with hollow back, large groove that doubles at the foible, cylindrical back. Engraved and rinceaux and trophies at the forte, signed 'Taglio Ferro'. Bronze hilt, of French type, traces of gilding. Horn grip without wire binding. length 98,5 cm.
dating: Late 19th Century provenance: Europe, Straight, double-edged blade. Fine, in-the-round, bronze grip to effigy Othello and Desdemona, Othello armed with a dagger (no blade). Quillon carved with architectonic elements with a small shell-guard with inscription 'OTHELLO'. Long, bronze scabbard, carved with architectonic elements in relief, effigies of characters and grotesques. Pierced chape, with harpies bust and vase in the center. length 42 cm.
dating: late 13th Century provenance: Central Europe, Wide, slightly shortened, double-edged blade, with central fuller, engraved on one side with letter 'S'. Quillon with wide and straight quillons of rectangular section. Tang at the base with antique, bronze plate to balance the quillon. Big pommel with raised and narrow sides, with visible engravings on both sides. length 88.2 cm.
dating: First Empire provenance: France, Curved, single-and false-edged blade, with fuller through all the length (some pitting); finished at the forte (refreshed) and with small, floral engravings and gilded trophies. Bronze hilt with remains of gilding, parry-quillon ending in an eagle's head, guard with a frame and leaves in relief, langets engraved with leaves in the center. Ebony, checkered grip. Long cap with frame en suite with the guard. Leather scabbard (defects) with brass mounts, engraved with floral motifs. Cap with a button, carved with escutcheon with a palmette in relief. length 86,7 cm.
dating: circa 1800 provenance: India, Curved, single-and short false-edged blade, in damask, with four, parallel fullers, remains of markings on the right side. Bronze, gilded hilt, quillon and grip in one piece. Slightly flattened parry-quillon, the other with counter-curved guard. Pommel shaped as horse's head, slightly flattened. The surface finely engraved with floral motifs. More recent scabbard, covered with red velvet. length 93 cm.
dating: 19th Century provenance: Turkey, Straight, double-edged blade, in damask, ribbed in the center; grip with wooden grip scales and brass, decorated band. Wooden scabbard, covered with velvet (completely worn), stitched on one side. Fine, gilded, bronze mounts, decorated with floral motifs in bass-relief, small repair at the base. length 39.5 cm.
