•Gilbert Ledward R.A. (1888 - 1960). Study for a bronze figure or nymph for Sloane Square Fountain, chalk and pencil, signed, titled and dated 1951, inscribed on verso, 14¼ x 9½in (36 x 24cm). A competition for the design of a fountain in Sloane Square was announced in 1948 and funded by the Royal Academy Leighton Fund. Gilbert Ledward won this and produced The Venus Fountain and it was inaugurated by Sir Gerald Kelly in October 1953.

A pair of late Victorian mahogany neo classical pedestals of square tapered form with applied gilt bronze mounts, bearing retailer's label of James A. Butti, 7 Queen Street, Edinburgh, top 11in. square, 41 3/4in. high. NB James Alexander Butti was a well known antiques dealer who traded in the city of Edinburgh for many years.

A 19th Century French style walnut pier cabinet of curved shaped form, floral inlaid frieze and panel door opening to reveal a velvet-lined interior fitted one shelf, raised on a curve-shaped floral inlaid apron, the whole profusely mounted with gilt bronze mounts, 32 1/2 x 16 1/2 x 44in. high.
