TWO JAPANESE BRONZE ELEPHANT AND TIGER GROUPS late Meiji period (1868-1912) the rearing bull elephant with a tiger attacking his back, another clawing his back leg, with ivory inset tusks, triple cast character mark, 14cm high; the other smaller but conforming. 10.5cm(h), each on a hardwood base. (2) The smaller elephant with re-glued and depleted tusks, the larger with re-glued tusks, some wear mainly to base of feet.

A Chinese bronze censer, mark of Xuande but possibly 18th Century, the squat circular body decorated with a ruyi head band beneath a foliate engraved collar and a pair of upright loop handles, on three short legs, cast six character mark to base, height approx 12cm, together with a pierced and carved hardwood cover (repaired).
A Japanese patinated cast bronze figure of a boy fishing, Meiji/Taisho period, the boy modelled wearing a tunic with brown patination to face, arms and legs, standing on a green washed rocky outcrop holding a rod aloft with silvered fish hooked below, incised signature to back of base, height approx 60cm.
