Chinese antique cast bronze dog of fo, with remnants of gilding, in our opinion of considerable age, intricate detailing to the mane and chest with broad shoulders and strong hind quarters, approx 14 hx 16 l cms. (*cr) Note: Property of a West Yorkshire lady. Condition Report This looks as though it may have been buried, there is significant oxidization. There is damage to the left foot that may have held a ball beneath the foot with a cavity behind it. The right front paw looks as though it has been repaired with gold at some stage. The right ear is missing.

Stunning cold-painted cast bronze of "Alphabet Lady" by Art Deco master Erte (Romain de Tirtoff). This statue embodies Post-WWI Modernist era with the elegant style that Erte imbued in his choice of fashion, colors, poses, and elongated female forms. The female model wears a gold long dress and holds her flowing cape with extended arms. On the base, the letters R, T. phonetically spell the artist's pseudonym.
