19th century bronze, originally partially gilded , roccoco style repoussé decorated plaque/charger with panels emblematic of the four Seasons and decorated with classical figures to the edge. Probably French. 55cm diameter approximately.(B.P. 21% + VAT) Misshapen in various places around the rim. Original gilding has worn away.
A pair of 19th century Grand Tour style bronze and marble tazza urns, each square plinth base supporting a footed urn with circular bowl, gadroon borders and scrolling foliate handles, each 26.4cm high (2) CONDITION REPORT:Both pieces show chips and nibbles to high points and corners of the marble plinths. The securing bolt below one of the plinths extends very slightly beyond the base, causing the piece to pivot on the end of the bolt. One of the plinths shows some staining. The bronze dishes and mounts show some ingrained dirt in the moulded details.
A pair of patinated bronze cherub figures, one modelled holding a bow and a heart, the other modelled resting on crutches with a broken arrow to base, each upon marble style socle bases, unsigned, each approximately 13.5cm high (2)Condition reportCherub with bow lacking lower half of the bow, left arm has been restored at the elbow, general minor nibbles to socle base.Second figure has some deposits at the top of the inside of his legs, possibly polish residue, along with some rubbing to the high points and minor nibbles to the socle.
An emotive WWI family group of medals comprising: 1914 star (_Ply 17602 Pte G A Honiatt, RM Brigade) GVF; Three: 1914-15 star trio (PS-2499 Pte R J Honiatt Middx R), VF; Pair: BWM, Victory (79119 Pte A R Honiatt, RAMC), VF/NEF, with RAMC cap badge, wound badge number 225868, 2 C.L.R.L bronze shooting medals: Aggregate 1929-30 A RC Honiatt and Final 1932-33 Division 12 London Chemists A R C Honiatt; and a WWI National Reserve Class II London gilt and enamel lapel badge by J R Gaunt, the right hand rifle butt impressed 13, the reverse button hole stud impressed "19812 Hampstead" EF. Note: Private George Archibald Honiatt, served with the RMLI, 2nd RM Battn RN Division and was killed in action 13th November 1916 aged 19, and is commemorated at Thiepval Memorial France; his brother Private Reginald Jack Honiatt served with the 16th Bn Middlesex Regt and was killed in action 29th April 1916 aged 23 and is buried at Forceville Communal Cemetery France. £200-300

The bow is made to be loose in her hand and it moves/position can be adjusted but not removed.

A couple of chips to the back/side of the marble base at the bottom and a few small nicks. Overall an impressive and stylish figure.

Barye gilt neben Pierre-Jules Mene als der bedeutendste Animalier / Tierbildhauer Frankreichs des 19.
