A 19TH CENTURY FRENCH BRONZE ORMOLU AND MARBLE FIGURAL MANTEL CLOCK surmounted by a blue spherical ball with enamel Roman numerals and gilt serpent hands fronting an eight-day spring driven movement raised on three bronze cherubs raised on a reeded white marble column41cm highThere are tiny chips to the white marble base on the edge, the bronze figures are loose and will need tightening and would benefit from a clean. The blue ball has some losses to the painted finish, but there are no dents. Some of the enamel numerals look to have been reglued. The escapement looks to have been replaced. It strikes the correct hours and does run but may need a service. We do not guarantee mechanical parts.

The enamel dial has repaired chips and hairline cracks. The movement is dirty but does function and strike but will require attention. The pendulum is missing.
