Lot 413
Laurent Honore Marqueste (French 1848-1920). A late 19th century bronze model of Victory, holding a laurel wreath and a palm branch and standing on a globe, signed 'Marqueste' and 'F.BARBEDIENNE FONDEUR PARIS', on a red marble plinth, 60.4cm high, 38.7cm wide. Provenance: The Collection of the Late P. J. Rankin.

BARBEDIENNE. FONDEUR', with Collas pastille, 59.5cm high, 17.8cm wide, mounted on a plush covered wooden plinth.

A William IV bronze lamp base, possibly based on a drawing by Sir John Flaxman, with traces of original gilding, the lappet stem entwined with a scaly dragon, on a circular base stamped '6491222', with later fittings, 46.5cm high.
