LARGE FRENCH BRONZE - AFTER EMILE PICAULT a large bronze in the classical style, of a winged figure of a lady. In it is inscribed, La Reconnaissance Est a Memoir Du Coeur and mounted on a square plinth. With a plaque which is dated, 11 Juillet 1912, and signed E Picault, with a impressed mark underneath (possibly a foundry mark) 28 3/4ins (73cms) high
LARGE BRONZE OF CECIL RHODES - JOHN TWEED a full length bronze of Cecil John Rhodes, the figure mounted on a square base. Signed, John Tweed, April 18 and date (difficult to read), and with a letter of provenance. 19ins (49cms) high *John Tweed (1869-1933) was born in Glasgow and executed the national memorial to Lord Kitchener on Horse Guards Parade, and a memorial to Cecil Rhodes in Bulawayo. The letter states, 'This sculptors model of the memorial, erected in Bulawayo, Rhodesia, was given to me in 1964 by his daughter Dr Lendal Tweed in memory of her brother Rathlin John Clinton Tweed (1900-1964), my friend and colleague for many years in India.
BENNO ELKAN: Moulded stoneware figure; Wailing cloaked female figure (37cm). Geoffrey Teychenne worked as assistant to Benno Elkan from late 1951 to 1954 creating the Menhorah for the Knesset Parliament building in Israel. After two and a half years working together Benno Elkan's health was failing and he delegated G Teychenne to supervise finishing the Menhorah. At this time he gave G Teychenne this piece of sculpture. This is the original which was probably planned to be moulded and cast in bronze if his health had not deteriorated.

Wiltshire Regiment First War Pair and Death Plaque, to 2nd Lieutenant Charles Trevor Bishop, Wiltshire Regiment, framed and glazed in a fine contemporary fretwork frame, mounted with a bronze Officer’s cap badge, the rear of the frame mounted with the King and Country Commemorative Scroll. 2nd Lieutenant Charles Trevor Bishop was killed on the 29th of March 1917 and this is recorded in the War Diary of the 5th Battallion Wiltshire Regiment at Palm Tree Post Mesopotamia and his name is recorded on the Basra Memorial.

One sconce is loose, one will not fit in the holder and another is stuck. One ring missing from mouth of lions head, one candelabra has a drill hole through it, the other has a single hole and a filled hole, some wear to gilt decoration
